I have been a Great Wall car owner since 2010 and am so far satisfied with the Peri we bought a few years ago and now, I am able to get my hands on Great Wall Car's new compact hatchback known as the Voleex C10. This came as a service unit while our Peri is undergoing repairs and parts replacement.
Great Wall's Voleex C10 is a small city car which competes well with the new Toyota Yaris. The first thing you'll notice is how good the Voleex C10 looks. Its front grill gives it a fierce look, and it reminds me of Hannibal Lecter's mask. The C10's face makes it very noticeable on the road.
Inside this compact hatchback, the quality of the plastics are impressive. It comes with a CD player audio unit with built in USB and Aux in, volume control buttons on the steering wheel and a handsome dashboard.
Underneath the hood, the Voleex C10 is powered by a GW4G15 engine that can produce a max output of 158bhp and 138Nm of torque, slightly lower that that of the Yaris but very agile for its weight and much easier to handle because of its front and rear disc brakes as compared to its competitor which has disc brakes in front and drum brakes at its rear tires.
