Choosing Music for Total Recall Summer Youth Camp 2013

This year's summer youth camp is scheduled for April 16-19, 2013 and the theme is Total Recall, which is thrust to encourage the youth to the fundamentals of their relationship with God as encouraged by Paul in 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Part of what we do every year is planning for the music of the camp and choosing songs that relate to the topics in each session. We place great importance to this because we may have great preparation with regards to technical stuff and equipment - like having high quality and musical instruments like martin guitars and Tama drumsets and the like, but if we fail to establish the right objectives then we will be ineffective in utilizing the music to enhance and support the over all objectives of the camp and the sessions.
