Two weeks ago, a new brand of Japanese restaurant, Eri Curry was officially launched. After a few weeks of soft opening at the third floor of SM Megamall Atrium, it has formally opened last September 10, 2014.
The opening program was held at the SM Megamall Atrium's event area

After a short opening program at the Atrium events area, we proceeded to the store for the blessing and ribbon cutting. The two special ladies among those who cut the ribbon were Ms. Pops Fernandez and Chef Erika of Eri Curry. The store was named after her I'm sure.

For the appetizer I got to try the Eri Curry Maki Roll and I also had iced tea for my drink.
Yes, every dish they offer has a touch of Japanese curry, a bit different from the popular curry from India because Eri Curry's is a bit milder and thicker.
Spicy level of Thin Sliced Beed Curry
I sampled their Thin Sliced Beef Curry which is available in different levels of spice like the other curry plates. I chose the Spicy level and it was already quite hot for me.
It was great to have my wife with me during the grand launch. She tried the Katsu Curry which is one of their best selling curry plate.
Katsu Curry - Mild level of spice
At Eri Curry, you can enjoy your visit by doing the following:
1. Choose Your Curry Plate
You can select from different varieties of curry plate which are the Katsu, Thin Sliced Beef, Crunchy Squid, Shrimp and Mushroom curry plates.
2. Choose Your Rice Portion
After choosing your curry plate, the next step is to select how much rice you want to go with it. You can choose from 200, 300 or 400 grams of rice.
3. Choose Your Spice Level
The three levels are Level 1 - Just Right (mild, almost no hint of spice), Level 2 - Spicy (a sure kick of heat) or Level 3 - Fiery! I am curious to try level 3 but like I mentioned, I got kicked already at level 2.
4. Add Toppings
Personalize! Add more toppings to your curry plate from a selection of protein toppings like crispy chicken, fried squid or thin sliced pork or vegetables like eggplant, asparagus and tomatoes.
