Growing up, I have had many experiences playing with board games. A few that I played with were, Othello, Chess, Scrabble, Snakes and Ladders, Millionaire’s Game and Monopoly. One of my favorites is a locally made strategy board game known as the Game of the Generals.

Now, a new online board game has hit the Philippines. It is a sort of a Millionaire’s Game or Monopoly type of game but with some twists. Just Roll It is the modern day online board game. It runs on Windows OS and is free to download and install.

Once you’ve installed the software on your PC, the next step is to accept the EULA (end users license agreement) and the Terms & Conditions. I created my account “Master Sun Tzu”, named after the war strategist. You can see my dashboard below.

If you ever forget your password, you can go to their website and click the tab “Support” and select the game Just Roll It. I think it would have been easier if they had a reset password process or link in the log in interface instead of just referring users to support.

One of the things that make this game different from the regular board game, aside from having to play it online, is that you can apply some strategy. In this game, you have the chance to select special characters and each one has its own strengths and weaknesses.

But, it does not end there. You can upgrade your character’s level. The special abilities (strengths and weaknesses) of the characters help you manipulate dice rolls as you play on your personal computer with groups of 4 players or as teams of 2 in battle. Playing in a group of 4 players is a free for all individual game.

As you can see above, the game board is very similar to the famous Monopoly game, which should make it easy to understand, play and enjoy. You go around the board and have the option to own properties. Other players who land on your property have to pay you. One way to win is when your opponent becomes bankrupt. But there are other ways to win and this is another thing that makes Just Roll It exciting. Download the game to find out the other ways to win.

Personally, I thought the interface of the game was too overwhelmingly cluttered. At first, I didn’t know what to do or what to click. The good thing was that Just Roll It has a tutorial that pops up. I suggest you read through the tutorial, like I did. Once you’ve read and understood everything, then you could easily navigate in the dashboard.

Just Roll It is just one of the games that Game Club offers. But among other games, this offers players the chance to live like a high roller. Those who play can stand a chance to win P1,000 daily. They also have a weekly and monthly raffle in the course of three months, but the prize is a total of PHP 1 million. All you have to do is just keep on playing this exciting online board game.
