Caritas Margins Church Social Enterprise invites everyone to do their early Christmas shopping and visit its Buy & Give Trade Fair 7 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive, Ayala Center, Makati from November 4-7, Monday to Thursday. Entrance is free.
The Buy & Give Fair is now on its 7th year. There will be more than 3,000 products to be sold in the 3-day event. Included are food, home care, personal care, handicrafts, religious items plus artworks and paintings done by prison inmates.
This year, Margins partnered with the cooperative sector led by the Union of Metro Manila Cooperatives (UMMC), Federation of People’s Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) with the active participation of the Regional Cooperative Development Council - National Capital Region (RCDC-NCR) and the Cooperative Development Authority, Manila Extension Office.
The event is also made possible by Caritas Manila, TV Maria, Veritas 846, Segunda Mana, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center and Centro Escolar University.
Caritas Margins is a non-stock, non-profit organization that markets quality products of micro entrepreneurs from all over the Philippines. The Buy & Give Trade Fair will benefit assisted poor micro entrepreneurs and partner cooperatives nationwide. The proceeds will also support the scholars of Caritas Manila Youth Servant Leadership Education Program (YSLEP).
To date, there are 12 Caritas Margins outlets in Caritas Manila Pandacan, Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 4, Market! Market!, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Delos Santos Medical Center, Ali Mall, Fairview Terraces, Alabang Town Center, Greenfield District, San Ildefonso Parish and Holy Trinity Parish.
